If you are putting your vehicle into storage for the winter or getting work done, you can insure it on a ‘laid up’ or ‘off road’ cover protecting it from fire, theft, and accidental damage whilst at the declared garaging address. It means you will only pay for the level of cover you need while your car is in storage rather than the level of cover you need when you’re out on the road.

It’s important to note that there are some factors to take into account before applying for classic car insurance:
Driver Age - Policyholders have to be over 25 years old (however certain risks may require policyholders to be 30 years old).
ROI Residents – A vehicle has to be 25+ years old; although consideration will be given on a bespoke basis.
NI Residents – A vehicle has to be 20+ years old; although consideration will be given on a bespoke basis.
No, it is not a necessary requirement that you are a member of a club, however you can benefit from up to 10% discount on your classic car insurance policy if you are a member of a recognised classic club
You will be able to increase your mileage throughout the year subject to an additional premium and within the maximum 5000 miles.
